It relies on the Event Action tabbed page to enable/disable the event(s) that will launch action(s) from the IO device, which is when the input signal is on.

 

To access the Event Action tabbed page for the IO device:

 

1. From the Tree Console, click the topic Recording Server.

 

2. Click the Recording Server to which the IO device to configure belongs.

 

Click the Recording Server to which the IO device to configure belongs.

 

3. Click the Event Action tab.

 

The Event Action tabbed page then opens.

Take a closer look at the user interface. The Event Action tabbed page shows an overview of the available digital input pin(s) at the top and the event settings in the following.

The event settings are:

Adds an event.

ØThe available event is Input signal on.

Deletes the selected event.

ØClick any of the event info cells to select the event.

Event Name

Delivers the event type.

ØOnly one type is available: Input signal on.

Schedule

Delivers the applied “schedule”, which means one or more time period(s) in which the occurrence of the event is taken effective.

ØUse the Add schedule settings to apply a schedule to the event.
ØTo create/delete/edit a schedule, see Schedule.

Stop Related Action

Sets whether to stop the action launched by the IO device some time after the event occurs, leaves it on automatic, or manually close.

Sec.

Sets when to stop the action launched by the IO device after the event occurs.

Ø1 to 60 seconds are configurable.

Action list

Delivers all the actions set up for the IO device to take when the event occurs.

Schedule Name

Delivers the name of the schedule.

ØClick the Schedule name cell to change the schedule to some other schedule.

Property

Sets whether to allow or block the applied schedule’s time period(s).

Description

Delivers a brief description for this schedule for the easier identification of it.

Action List

Delivers all the actions set up for the IO device to take when the event occurs.

Action properties

Sets the detail of an action.

ØSets which digital output pin to turn on (for DO turn on).
ØSets whom to send the alert email(s) to (for E-Mail to multiple)

ØPlay Alert Sound on NVRclient. Please enable Audio Notification on Global| Client Configuration| Function| Alarm (for Audio Notification)
ØNo detail setting for Video Edge Display(for Video Edge Display)
ØSets which camera to popup on which monitor(for Video Popup)

 

This group of settings is available only when any of the available actions is added.

If you choose "manually close" in the column of stop related action, the action will stop until you close it in the close alarm window. Play alarm sound, Video popout, and Video edge display could be manually closed. However, other actions which are not supported to be manually closed would follow the setting of stop _ sec. to stop (Except the action "Go to Preset" and "Start Patrol", you can see more detail in Optical PTZ setting).
